As a member of the board of the Rhode Island Center for Freedom & Prosperity, Doc Skoly contributed his professional stature and personal experience to advance debates over medical freedom, affordability, and constitutional governance on behalf of Rhode Islanders. The Center is a nonprofit public-policy think tank that promotes pro-family, pro-business, and individual liberty reforms as a way to improve quality of life and economic opportunity for all Rhode Islanders. Skoly joined its board in 2020, became chairman in 2021, and relinquished his role in order to run for Congress.
