A proven leader with nearly four decades of dedicated service to Rhode Island families, Dr. Stephen Skoly is a fierce defender of medical freedom, constitutional principles, and economic opportunity. Licensed to practice in Rhode Island since 1988, he has delivered full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and hospital-based care across the state — serving some of the most vulnerable citizens at Eleanor Slater Hospital, Zambarano Hospital, the Rhode Island Training School for minors, the RI Department of Corrections, and the Federal Wyatt Detention Facility.

His leadership extends far beyond the operating room. He has delivered essential oral surgery through the Rhode Island Rite Smiles Program for children and served as a trusted consultant to the State Medical Examiner's office, including a key role in the response to the Station nightclub fire. Internationally, he has advanced American interests through projects with USAID/SIDIM. A respected academic, he has held faculty positions at the University of Rhode Island and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia in Moscow, and appears regularly on Fox News championing practical solutions for Rhode Islanders.

A decisive voice in public policy, he joined the Board of the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity in 2020, was elected Chairman in 2021, and stepped down only to pursue his campaign for Congress. There he led vigorous debates on medical freedom, health-care affordability, and constitutional governance — advancing pro-family, pro-business, and individual-liberty reforms that expand opportunity for every Rhode Islander.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Assumption University, where he now serves on the Board of Trustees, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut. He completed a general practice residency at the nation's first Level-One Trauma Center, Cook County Hospital in Chicago, followed by a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois.

Beyond medicine, he's a visionary producer. As Executive Producer of Jawdoc Productions, he has created multiple documentaries and feature films — including the hard-hitting Fixing America — to expose problems and demand real solutions. He has published multiple editorials in the Providence Journal and delivered a powerful rebuttal to Rhode Island's failed "Cooler/Warmer" campaign, refusing to stay silent when bad policy threatens the state he loves.

He's not a politician. He's a battle-tested leader who has spent his life protecting the vulnerable, demanding accountability, and fighting for the principles that make Rhode Island and America strong — ready to bring that same strength, integrity, and results-driven leadership to Congress.
